Yuki Ohashi was born on 27 July 1996 in Matsudo, Chiba. He came through Shonan Bellmare's youth ranks before moving to Sanfrecce Hiroshima in January 2024. His Sanfrecce half-season produced 22 J1 matches with 10 goals — outstanding striker output that earned him a transfer to Blackburn Rovers in July 2024.
His Blackburn career has been highly productive. The 2024–25 Championship season brought 37 league matches with 9 goals and 3 assists. The 2025–26 campaign has been even better: 46 Championship matches with 10 goals and an assist, plus a goal and an assist in 2 League Cup matches and an FA Cup appearance.
For Japan, Ohashi has been a senior call-up since 2024. He scored a goal and provided an assist in 2 friendlies in 2025.
A 180cm two-footed centre forward with elite hold-up play, finishing ability and the work rate to lead the press, Ohashi has been one of the most consistent Championship goalscorers among J1-graduates. He is a candidate for the wider 2026 FIFA World Cup squad as a senior striker option.
