Aníbal Godoy is a Panamanian defensive midfielder from Panama City. He started at Chepo, had a loan at Godoy Cruz and moved to Europe with Honvéd before a long Major League Soccer career with San Jose Earthquakes, Nashville SC and San Diego FC. Godoy made his senior Panama debut in 2010 and became captain and one of the country's most capped players. He represented Panama at the 2018 FIFA World Cup and has been part of Gold Cup and Nations League runner-up squads.
