Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure

Popaz Co. ("we", "us", "our") operates Kickoff Calendar (https://kickoff.guide, the "Service"). To support the Service's operating costs and continue providing free access to most features, we participate in a small number of affiliate programs. This page explains how we handle advertising and affiliate links on the Service.

1. What affiliate links are

Some links in our blog posts, recommendation pages, and other content are affiliate links provided through third-party advertising programs. When you click an affiliate link and purchase a product or service from the destination site, we may receive a referral commission from the advertising program operator.

The presence of affiliate links and the resulting commissions do not affect the price you pay for the product or service.

The Service displays advertising through multiple affiliate networks (ASPs). The specific programs in use change from time to time depending on contracts and operational policy.

3. How we choose what to recommend

We follow the principles below when selecting products and services for our content:

• The editorial team reviews each item and only recommends those we believe are useful for international football fans
• The presence of, or rate of, an affiliate commission is not a factor in selection
• We do not publish false claims, exaggerated marketing language, or unsupported comparative statements
• Subjective opinions are clearly labelled as such

4. How we disclose advertising

We follow the Japan Consumer Affairs Agency's guidelines on advertising disclosure (commonly known as the "stealth marketing regulation", effective 1 October 2023) and applicable U.S. FTC guidance for affiliate marketing. Specifically:

• Articles containing affiliate links display a clear notice at the top or bottom such as "This article contains affiliate links."
• Individual affiliate links or banners are tagged with labels such as "(PR)", "[Ad]", or "Affiliate"
• A link to this policy is permanently visible in the site footer

5. Trademarks and image rights

Logos, trademarks, and images of the products and services we feature belong to their respective owners. We use only assets supplied through affiliate programs or quoted from official sources.

6. Disclaimer

We make every reasonable effort to keep information about featured products and services accurate, but specifications, prices, and terms may change without notice. Please confirm the latest details on the product or service's official site before purchasing. We are not a party to any contract you enter into through these links and accept no liability for the resulting transaction.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the law evolves or as the Service changes. Updated policies take effect once posted on the Service.
