Ander Herrera is a Spanish midfielder who came through Real Zaragoza before establishing himself at Athletic Bilbao. His performances in La Liga and European competition led to a move to Manchester United in 2014. At United he became known for his pressing, tactical discipline and passing range, and he was named the club's player of the year for the 2016-17 season, when the team won the EFL Cup and UEFA Europa League. Herrera then joined Paris Saint-Germain, adding domestic trophies in France and appearing in the club's run to the 2020 UEFA Champions League final. He later returned to Athletic Bilbao. Internationally, he represented Spain at youth levels and made his senior debut for Spain in 2016.
