Artur is a Brazilian defensive midfielder from Brumado. He started his professional career with São Paulo and gained early first-team experience in Brazil before moving to the United States. Columbus Crew signed him after a loan from São Paulo, and he became a long-serving MLS midfielder, winning the 2020 MLS Cup. In 2023 he joined Houston Dynamo and helped the club win the U.S. Open Cup.
