Blás Riveros was born on 3 February 1998 in Itauguá, Paraguay, and came through Olimpia. His speed, aggression and attacking appetite made him one of the country's best young left-backs.
Basel signed him in 2016, giving him Swiss league and European competition experience. He later moved to Brøndby in Denmark, where injuries slowed him but the high-running environment suited his tools.
After returning to South America, he joined Cerro Porteño in 2025. By May 2026 he was with Cerro, again visible in Paraguayan domestic football and around the national-team picture.
For Paraguay he debuted young and appeared in Copa América and World Cup qualifying squads. His ability to defend transitions while still giving width has kept him useful.
Standing 1.78 m, Riveros is a left-footed left-back with speed and stamina. He resembles Santiago Arzamendia with more raw acceleration and a less polished version of Pervis Estupiñán.
