Connor Metcalfe is a Newcastle-born central midfielder for FC St. Pauli and Australia. He joined Melbourne City's youth system in 2014 and made his A-League debut in 2018, later becoming a regular and winning the Harry Kewell Medal for Australia's young male player of the year. In 2022 he moved to St. Pauli, where he was part of the side promoted as 2. Bundesliga champion. Metcalfe made his senior international debut in a 2021 World Cup qualifier.
