Christopher Trimmel is an Austrian right-back who became a defining player for Union Berlin. After starting at Rapid Wien, he joined Union in 2014 and helped lead the club from the 2. Bundesliga to the Bundesliga and later European competition. A long-serving captain, he is known for crossing, set pieces and leadership from the right flank.
