Hisashi Appiah Tawiah is a Japanese centre-back of Ghanaian descent. After developing through Ryutsu Keizai University Kashiwa High School and Ryutsu Keizai University, he entered professional football with Vegalta Sendai and later joined Kyoto Sanga. His career has been built around physical defending, aerial duels and gaining regular J.League experience in central defence.
