Kim Jin-gyu is a South Korean midfielder born in Pohang on 24 February 1997. He joined Busan IPark as a teenager in 2015, made his professional debut that year and later helped the club win promotion back to K League 1. Kim moved to Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in 2022 and also served with Gimcheon Sangmu. At youth international level, he was part of South Korea's 2020 AFC U-23 Championship-winning squad and played at the Tokyo Olympics. He made his senior national team breakthrough in 2022.
