Mert Günok is a Turkish goalkeeper born in Karabük in 1989. He joined Fenerbahçe's academy in 2001 and became a professional there, winning domestic titles while competing for minutes. After spells with Bursaspor and İstanbul Başakşehir, where he won the 2019-20 Süper Lig, he joined Beşiktaş in 2021. Günok made his senior Turkey debut in 2012 and was selected for Euro 2020 and Euro 2024, where his late save against Austria became one of the tournament's notable moments.
