Massadio Haïdara is a left-back born in Trappes, France, and a Mali international. After developing at Nancy, he moved to Newcastle United in 2013 and spent several seasons in English football. He returned to France with Lens, helping the club establish itself in Ligue 1 and later playing in European competition. Haïdara switched international allegiance to Mali and represented the national team at the Africa Cup of Nations before continuing his club career with Kocaelispor.
