Maxime Lopez is a French midfielder developed by Marseille. He broke into the first team as a technically gifted playmaker before moving to Sassuolo in Italy, where he became a regular in Serie A. Later he returned to French football. Lopez is known for close control, passing rhythm and playing as a deep midfielder despite his small frame.
