Mats Rots is a Dutch left-back from Groenlo and the younger brother of Daan Rots. A Twente academy product, he signed his first professional contract in 2022 and made his senior debut in a UEFA Conference League qualifier against Riga FC in 2023. He later extended his Twente contract, had a loan at Heracles Almelo, and represented the Netherlands at youth levels.
