Nabil Fekir is a French attacking midfielder and forward developed in Lyon's academy. He became one of Olympique Lyonnais' leading players, combining close control, left-footed creativity and goal scoring from midfield, and was named Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year for 2014-15. Although a serious knee injury interrupted his early rise, he returned to captain Lyon and remain a major attacking figure for the club. Fekir joined Real Betis in 2019 and helped the Spanish side win the Copa del Rey in 2022. At international level he chose France, made his senior debut in 2015, and was part of the squad that won the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
