Nicolas Höfler is a German defensive midfielder who has spent almost his entire professional career with SC Freiburg. After a loan at Erzgebirge Aue, he returned to Freiburg and became a long-serving Bundesliga regular. Known for positioning, ball-winning and calm passing, he has been one of the club's midfield constants over many seasons.
