Nicolás Marichal is a Uruguayan centre-back from Sarandí del Yí. He started with Nacional de Sarandí del Yí and Nacional, making his professional debut in 2021 and winning domestic honours with Nacional. In 2022 he moved to Russian club Dynamo Moscow, where he became a regular defender and later extended his contract. Marichal was named in Uruguay's squad for the 2024 CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament, received his first senior call-up in March 2024, debuted against the Basque Country, and was included in the 2024 Copa América squad.
