Rémy Cabella is a French attacking midfielder who came through Montpellier and was part of the club's Ligue 1 title-winning squad in 2011-12. He later played for Newcastle United, Marseille, Saint-Étienne, Krasnodar, Lille and Olympiacos. Cabella represented France at youth levels and made senior appearances for the national team after being included in the wider setup around the 2014 World Cup period.
