Richie Laryea is a Canadian right-back and midfielder born in Toronto in 1995. After playing with Sigma FC and the Akron Zips, he was selected by Orlando City in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft. He later broke through with Toronto FC, then joined Nottingham Forest in England and had loan spells with Toronto and Vancouver before returning to Toronto permanently in 2024. Laryea has represented Canada since 2019, scored his first senior international goal in a 2022 World Cup qualifier against Bermuda and was part of Canada's 2022 FIFA World Cup squad.
