Robert Lewandowski is a Polish striker born in Warsaw in 1988. He rose through Znicz Pruszkow and Lech Poznan, then won Bundesliga titles with Borussia Dortmund before joining Bayern Munich in 2014. With Bayern he became one of the club's leading scorers, won the 2019-20 Champions League as part of a treble, and earned major individual awards including The Best FIFA Men's Player. He moved to Barcelona in 2022 and won La Liga and the Pichichi Trophy. Since 2008 he has been Poland's central forward and all-time leading scorer.
