Roberto Firmino is a Brazilian forward from Maceio who emerged at Figueirense before moving to Hoffenheim in 2011. Liverpool signed him in 2015, and he became the linking centre-forward in Jürgen Klopp's front three with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. Firmino won the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, FIFA Club World Cup and domestic cups with Liverpool, combining pressing, movement and creative passing rather than playing as a conventional penalty-box striker. He represented Brazil at major tournaments and won the 2019 Copa America. After leaving Liverpool he played in Saudi Arabia and later joined Al Sadd.
