Sergio Rochet is a Uruguayan goalkeeper from Nueva Palmira. After youth football with Danubio and AZ, he established himself in the Netherlands with AZ, then played for Sivasspor before returning to Uruguay with Nacional in 2019. At Nacional he won league titles and was repeatedly named in the Uruguayan Primera División team of the year. Internacional signed him in 2023, and he became a regular in Brazil. Rochet made his Uruguay debut in 2022, started every match at the 2022 World Cup, and was part of the 2024 Copa América squad.
