Valeriy Bondar is a Ukrainian centre-back developed by Shakhtar Donetsk. He progressed through Shakhtar's academy and became part of the senior squad, winning domestic honours and appearing in European competition. Bondar represented Ukraine at youth level, including the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup-winning team, and later moved into the senior national-team pool.
