Wilfred Ndidi is a Nigerian defensive midfielder born in Lagos in 1996. After moving from Nath Boys Academy to Genk, he earned a transfer to Leicester City in 2017 and became known for ball-winning midfield play. With Leicester he won the FA Cup, FA Community Shield and EFL Championship before joining Besiktas in 2025. Ndidi has represented Nigeria since 2015 and later captained the national team.
