Yuya Asano is a Japanese midfielder and forward from Mie Prefecture. After playing for Yokkaichi Chuo Technical High School and Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences, he joined Mito HollyHock and then Sanfrecce Hiroshima. He later played for Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo and Nagoya Grampus. Asano is the younger brother of Japan international Takuma Asano and has built his own J.League career as a mobile attacking player.
