Diego Luna is an American attacking midfielder born in Sunnyvale, California, on 7 September 2003. He developed through the San Jose Earthquakes academy and signed with El Paso Locomotive in the USL Championship, where his performances drew MLS attention. Real Salt Lake signed him in 2022, and he became a creative regular for the club with his dribbling, chance creation and work between the lines. Luna represented the United States at under-20 level, including the FIFA U-20 World Cup, and later entered the senior national-team pool as one of MLS's notable young attackers.
