Eduard Löwen is a German midfielder born in Idar-Oberstein. He came through the academies of Kaiserslautern and Saarbrücken before establishing himself at 1. FC Nürnberg. Hertha BSC signed him in 2019, and he later had loan spells with Augsburg and VfL Bochum. Löwen moved to St. Louis City ahead of the club’s first MLS season and became an important set-piece and central midfield option.
