Joshua Yaro is a Ghanaian defender who moved to the United States for college soccer at Georgetown. He was one of the top college defenders in the country and was selected second overall by Philadelphia Union in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft. After early MLS experience and time in USL, Yaro rebuilt his career with San Diego Loyal and St. Louis City’s reserve side before earning first-team minutes in St. Louis.
