Franco Israel is a Uruguayan goalkeeper from Nueva Helvecia. He began with local club Artesano and Nacional before Juventus signed him in 2018 after his performances in youth competition. He played for Juventus U23, moved to Sporting CP in 2022, and later joined Torino. Israel represented Uruguay at under-17, under-18 and under-20 levels, including the 2019 South American U-20 Championship and FIFA U-20 World Cup. He received his first senior call-up in 2023, debuted against Nicaragua, and was included in Uruguay's 2024 Copa América squad.
