Jonathan Osorio is a Canadian midfielder born in Toronto in 1992. After youth soccer in Ontario and a period with Nacional's academy in Uruguay, he played for SC Toronto before joining Toronto FC in 2013. He became a long-serving Toronto player, later captaining the club and holding its appearance record. With Toronto he won MLS Cup, the Supporters' Shield and multiple Canadian Championships. Osorio made his Canada debut in 2013, scored in World Cup qualifying at the Estadio Azteca, and played all three of Canada's matches at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
