Kingsley Coman was born on 13 June 1996 in Paris, France. He came through the renowned youth academy of Paris Saint-Germain, and after declining their professional contract offer he signed for Juventus in 2014 at just seventeen — a move that signalled early confidence in his own value and trajectory.
After a promising year in Turin he joined Bayern München on a two-year loan in 2015, which was subsequently made permanent for around €28 million. At Bayern he became one of the most dangerous wide attackers in European football, winning the Bundesliga in every season he was fully fit and scoring the winning goal in the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain in Lisbon — a moment of particular symmetry given his origins at PSG. He went on to accumulate eight consecutive Bundesliga titles at the club, alongside multiple DFB-Pokals, before transferring to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia in summer 2025.
His Bayern career was consistently interrupted by injury — primarily hamstring and ankle problems — which limited his appearances across several seasons and made his productivity all the more impressive given fewer cumulative minutes than peers. Despite this, he finished his Munich spell as one of the most decorated players of his generation in German football.
For France he debuted in 2015 and has been a fixture — injury permitting — through the 2018 FIFA World Cup (winner), UEFA Euro 2020, and the 2022 FIFA World Cup final. He has accumulated more than 60 caps and scored key goals at major tournaments, establishing himself as one of Les Bleus' most reliable wide options.
Standing 1.80 m, Coman is a left-footed winger most naturally deployed on the left flank, combining explosive pace, low centre of gravity and exceptional one-versus-one ability.
