Ken Yamura was born in Meguro, Tokyo, and developed through Vitoria Meguro, Tokyo Musashino City, Ichiritsu Funabashi High School and Niigata University of Health and Welfare. Albirex Niigata signed him in 2019, and he later gained regular senior minutes with Fujieda MYFC on loan. After productive seasons there as a forward, he joined Fujieda permanently and continued his career as one of the club's attacking options.
