Kim Seung-gyu is a South Korean goalkeeper born in Ulsan on 30 September 1990. A product of Ulsan Hyundai, he established himself as a first-team goalkeeper before spells in Japan with Vissel Kobe and Kashiwa Reysol, in Saudi Arabia with Al-Shabab, and later FC Tokyo. Kim has been part of South Korea's senior national team since 2013 and has appeared in major international tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup and AFC Asian Cup, competing for the starting role in goal.
