Merih Demiral is a Turkish centre-back born in Karamürsel in 1998. He developed with Fenerbahçe and moved through Portuguese football with Alcanenense and Sporting CP before joining Alanyaspor. Sassuolo brought him to Serie A in 2019, and Juventus signed him later that year. He also played for Atalanta before moving to Saudi club Al-Ahli in 2023. Demiral made his senior Turkey debut in 2018 and represented the national team at Euro 2020 and Euro 2024.
