Nicușor Bancu is a Romanian left-back and midfielder closely associated with Universitatea Craiova. After earlier spells with lower-division clubs, he became an important player for Craiova and won domestic cup honours. Bancu has represented Romania at senior level and is valued for stamina, crossing and the ability to cover the whole left flank.
