Stephen Eustáquio hails from Remington, Ontario, Canada, where he began his football journey. He started his career in the youth systems in Portugal before making a breakthrough with his first senior club, Leixões, in 2017. His move to Chaves in 2018 marked a significant step, where he gained attention for his performances, including scoring a crucial goal against FC Porto that helped solidify his reputation in Portuguese football.
Eustáquio's playing style is characterized by his technical prowess and tactical awareness as a midfielder. After impactful spells in both Mexico with Cruz Azul and Portugal's Paços de Ferreira, he secured a place at FC Porto in 2022. Since then, he has played a pivotal role in the team, contributing to their victories in the Primeira Liga and the Taça de Portugal during the 2021-22 season.
