Salman Al-Faraj is a Saudi midfielder born in Medina in 1989. A product of Al-Hilal, he spent most of his career there and became a leading figure in one of the club's most successful eras, winning multiple Saudi Pro League titles, King Cups, Super Cups and AFC Champions League trophies. In 2024 he joined Neom. For Saudi Arabia he debuted in 2012, played in the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, scored against Egypt in 2018, and has often served as a senior leader and captain.
