Uğurcan Çakır is a goalkeeper born in Antalya in 1996. He joined Trabzonspor's youth system and, after a loan at 1461 Trabzon, established himself as Trabzonspor's first-choice goalkeeper. He captained the club and was part of the side that won the 2021-22 Süper Lig title, ending a long league wait for Trabzonspor. Galatasaray signed him in 2025. Çakır made his senior Turkey debut in 2019 and was selected for Euro 2020 and Euro 2024.
