Ismail Jakobs is a left-back born in Cologne in 1999. He developed at BC Bliesheim and 1. FC Koln, broke into Koln's first team in 2019, and moved to Monaco in 2021. In 2024 he joined Galatasaray on loan, later becoming a permanent player, and won Turkish domestic honours. Jakobs represented Germany at under-21 level and was part of the team that won the 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship before switching to Senegal, playing at the 2022 World Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations.
