Yuya Yamagishi is a Japanese forward from Chiba. He played university football at Ryutsu Keizai University before joining Thespakusatsu Gunma, then moved to FC Gifu, Montedio Yamagata and Avispa Fukuoka. At Fukuoka he became an important attacker and helped the club compete in J1 before moving to Nagoya Grampus. Yamagishi's career has been a steady rise through the Japanese leagues, marked by work rate and scoring contributions.
