Agustín Giay is an Argentine right-back and midfielder born in San Carlos Centro in 2004. He joined San Lorenzo's youth setup at 13 and made his professional debut in April 2022 against Unión. Later that year he scored his first senior goal in a league win over Boca Juniors and became one of San Lorenzo's notable young players. Palmeiras signed him in June 2024 on a contract through 2029. At international level, Giay represented Argentina at under-15 and under-20 levels, won the L'Alcúdia tournament as Argentina U20 captain in 2022, and played at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He made his senior Argentina debut in 2026.
