Joaquín Piquerez is a Uruguayan left-back born in Montevideo. He debuted with Defensor Sporting, then played for River Plate Montevideo and Peñarol before joining Palmeiras in 2021. With Palmeiras he won the Copa Libertadores, Recopa Sudamericana, Brazilian Série A and Campeonato Paulista titles, becoming an important player on the left side. Piquerez represented Uruguay at youth levels, including under-17 and under-23 squads, and made his senior debut in a 2021 World Cup qualifier against Peru.
