Eric Dier is an English defender and midfielder who was raised in Portugal and came through Sporting CP before joining Tottenham Hotspur in 2014. At Spurs he became a long-serving first-team player, operating both in midfield and central defence, and played in the 2019 Champions League final. He joined Bayern Munich in 2024 and has also represented England at major tournaments including the 2018 World Cup and Euro 2020.
