Jamaal Lascelles is an English centre-back born in Derby in 1993. He came through Nottingham Forest and made his senior debut there before joining Newcastle United in 2014. After a loan back to Forest, he became an important Newcastle defender and was named club captain, leading the side through promotion from the Championship and several Premier League seasons. Lascelles represented England at youth levels and is known for his aerial strength and leadership.
