Nicola Zalewski is a Polish footballer born in Tivoli, Italy, in 2002. Raised in Roma's academy, he made his first-team breakthrough under Jose Mourinho and was part of the squad that won the 2021-22 UEFA Europa Conference League. He later had a loan spell with Inter Milan before moving to Atalanta. Eligible through his Polish parents, Zalewski represented Poland at youth levels and made his senior debut in 2021. He played for Poland at the 2022 World Cup and has become a regular wide option for the national team.
