Saeid Ezatolahi is an Iranian defensive midfielder born in Bandar Anzali in 1996. He came through Malavan and moved abroad as a teenager, spending time in Atlético Madrid's setup before building a senior career across Russia, England, Belgium, Denmark, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. His size and passing from deep midfield made him an early national-team option. Ezatolahi debuted for Iran in 2015, played at the 2018 World Cup and remained part of the squad through the 2022 World Cup and Asian Cup cycles.
