Yehvann Diouf was born on 16 November 1999 in Montreuil, France, and is eligible for Senegal through his family background. He developed at Troyes before moving to Reims, where he gradually turned from a reserve goalkeeper into a Ligue 1 starter.
At Reims he established himself with sharp reflexes, calm handling and the bravery to play behind a proactive defensive line. His rise was not instant, but once trusted he became one of the more reliable young goalkeepers in France.
In the 2026 cycle he was listed with Nice after his move on the French market, adding a higher-profile club setting to his career. Whether with Reims or Nice, his reputation has been that of a technically clean goalkeeper comfortable in modern build-up demands.
For Senegal he accepted the senior path and became part of the goalkeeper group competing around Édouard Mendy and Mory Diaw. His call-ups during World Cup qualifying signalled a generational refresh in a position Senegal had stabilised during its AFCON-winning era.
Standing around 1.88 m, Diouf is a right-footed goalkeeper with good reflexes, footwork and composure in distribution. He is stylistically closer to Mike Maignan than to a purely line-bound keeper, although he is still building the international résumé that would make such a comparison fully earned.
