Ange-Yoan Bonny was born on 25 October 2003 in Aubervilliers, France, and is of Ivorian descent. He started his professional career with Châteauroux in Ligue 2, debuting in October 2020.
In August 2021 he joined Parma's Serie B project, developing over four seasons and emerging as the club's leading scorer in Serie A in 2024-25 with six goals — strong enough form to attract Premier League and Serie A interest.
On 5 July 2025, Inter Milan signed him to be reunited with his former Parma coach Cristian Chivu. He scored on his Serie A debut for Inter on 25 August 2025 in a 5-0 win against Torino, and his breakthrough month came in October 2025 when a goal and three assists in a 4-1 win over Cremonese earned him the Serie A Rising Star of the Month award. In his first season at Inter he made roughly 30 league appearances with 5 goals and helped the club win the 2025-26 Serie A title.
He has represented France at U19, U20 and U21 levels, and was reportedly in the picture for senior consideration with Ivory Coast in 2026.
A 1.89 m centre-forward who can also operate from the left, Bonny combines size, speed and quick combination play, and has quickly become an important rotation option for Inter alongside Lautaro Martínez and Marcus Thuram.
