Andy Alune Diouf was born on 17 May 2003 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, and is of Senegalese descent. He came through French youth football at Paris Saint-Germain, Boulogne-Billancourt and finally Rennes from 2015. He made his Ligue 1 debut on 9 May 2021 in a 1-1 draw against PSG.
A 2022-23 loan to FC Basel was a breakthrough — he made 56 appearances, scored three goals and helped Basel reach a Europa Conference League semi-final, earning the competition's Young Player of the Season award and a place in its Team of the Season.
Following the loan he signed a five-year deal with RC Lens in June 2023, making 68 appearances over two Ligue 1 seasons before joining Inter Milan in August 2025 as part of Inter's midfield rebuild under Cristian Chivu.
In his first Inter season (2025-26) he scored in the Coppa Italia and netted a stoppage-time goal in a Champions League group-stage match against Borussia Dortmund, while contributing to the 2025-26 Serie A title.
For France he played at multiple youth levels and was part of the squad that won silver at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
A 1.87 m left-footed central midfielder, Diouf brings physical presence, ball-carrying ability and a strong long-range shot, and he is being used by Inter as a younger, athletic option in midfield rotation.
