Rayane Bounida is a Belgian-born attacking midfielder born in Vilvoorde in 2006. He drew attention as a young prospect at Anderlecht, where he was widely followed before moving to Ajax in 2022. Bounida progressed through Ajax's youth and reserve sides, made his Jong Ajax debut in 2024 and later reached the first team. A Belgium youth international through several age groups, he is of Moroccan descent and his request to switch allegiance to Morocco was approved in 2026.
